Images With Love

You may remember Kyla and Andrew from their gorgeous Sydney engagement session I photographed last year. There is something quite special about photographing the wedding of someone you already know, and I have to admit it always gives me extra goosebumps when I see my friends in their wedding dress for the first time. What a gorgeous bride!

Kyla and Andrew ‘tied the knot’ at the Peppers Creek Chapel in Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley, which was followed by a beautiful reception at the Peppers Creek Barrel Room (also located on site). What a gorgeous, beautiful day! The weather in NSW had been a little crazy leading up to the day, but fortunately turned on the charm for us when it mattered most.

As a photographer, although we are snapping away taking photos throughout the day, we are paying close attention to detail and are fortunate enough to view some really special moments. I love being a fly on the wall and enjoying these moments through the viewfinder of my camera. I loved seeing Kyla and Andrew so happy together and sharing such a special day with close friends and family. Kyla being a lover of dance, managed to put quite a few personal touches into the wedding reception which was so much fun! My favourite moments were the glances they made towards each other, where you could see the love and respect they have for one another. 

Kyla and Andrew, it has been an absolute pleasure working with you. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your special day and I wish you the very best in your new future together as husband and wife.
